My SD card is corrupted. If there is a network boot image probably the FS can live longer.
Have anyone made a network boot image?

I'm unable to test this with a ZedBoard right now but I would have expected switching from a root filesystem on SD card to one on an NFS drive to be a simple matter of U-boot config/commands. E.g. see:
http://www.stlinux.com/u-boot/kernel-bootingIf you're saying that the default U-boot doesn't have NFS support I'd suggest building it from source (and thus a new BOOT.BIN) and during the process of which checking to ensure that NFS is configured. Start from:

On the Zedboard you have to change the kernel boot parameters in the devicetree, it should be the same with Parallella. Change the bootarg and compile device tree as described under "Device Tree Generation"
http://www.adapteva.com/white-papers/bu ... a-platform. I'll try the nfsroot as soon as I get my Parallella board, in a month or so...

just learned the kernel from ftp site does support nfsv3
however it requires command like this to work
mount -t nfs 192.168.0.250:/home/me /home/root -o rw,nolock,addr=192.168.0.250

https://plus.google.com/107439537313305 ... 5taMhPKurpI made a short tutorial on netbooting the Parallella. I hope this is useful for anyone looking to tftp/nfs boot their cluster nodes.
