Getting started and helping out

Newbie and Kickstarter backer here. Looking forward to getting involved.

I'm wondering if an Epiphany backend has already been created for LLVM? If not, how will we be compiling programs for the Epiphany architecture? If not (and it's just not done yet) is help needed?

Is there a list of open projects or tasks that people can work on to help get Parallella going?

@philtor,

I am not aware of a working LLVM backend, but for compiling a program you don't need LLVM. The Epiphany SDK provides the full GNU toolchain, including the GCC compiler and the related binutils.

If you are able to help with porting the LLVM, then I think that the LLVM forum in this site may be a good starting point.
