Hello World...in 16 different languages...then 64...then...?

As a simple teaching approach, it would be interesting to take the venerable 'hello world' app and show how each core would parallel process the basic salutation. Maybe a little interaction with the FPGA posing as a GPU...maybe each core asking 1,2,3...other cores how to say 'hello world' in their own language.

Of course, the 64 core system needs similar introduction...and 1000+ cores starts to really introduce the world of parallella programing opportunity.

And of course, there definitely needs to be some 'if' type computation going on independently in each of the cores.

That would be nice. Why not be the first one to do that, by taking this skeleton and make it the application you describe?
