Paralio - I/O for the parallella
![Post Post](./styles/we_clearblue/imageset/icon_post_target.gif)
I've been working on an I/O board for Parallella for a while now. I'm busy with family duties so fun stuff like this doesn't get as much attention as I would like.
My goal is low speed io for hobbyists. No differential pairs or matched traces, double sided board, simple and cheap. If there is demand we can work together to get a bunch assembled, I'm not going to be able to do this on my own.
My feature list for the board is
- USB serial converter (mini usb with no power connection)
- Xilinx jtag (2mm 14 pin)
- ARM jtag (2.54mm 20 pin)
- level converters to either 3.3v or 5v on all 7010 i/o (7020 are n/c)
- Arduino compatible i/o connector for reuse of cheap peripherals like relay boards, motor controllers etc.
- HD74480 LCD interface
- 8 LEDs on GPIO
- LED on USERLED
- 4 input buttons (active low)
- i2c support
- reset button
- fan power
Notes
- only one of the jtag connectors can be used at a time, this is important.
