Dear parausers,
I am having trouble booting my microserver board with the image.
It never gets an IP address. As I don't have HDMI monitor/cable/connector, nor RS232, I am flying blind.
First thing, then, can anyone confirm if my download is ok?
Is this the MD5SUM of the following image?
$ md5sum parabuntu-2016.11.1-headless-z7010.img
4b8d896a49e71de7a1cd312b5cd2bead parabuntu-2016.11.1-headless-z7010.img
I can't find the info on the net. Note that I calculate it after unziping, because I already had deleted the ziped file.
Thank you. I hope we find soon what is the cause.
Beco.
PS. I saw some troubleshootings, but they ask to boot it with HDMI to change IP to static. I can't do that.
Also, for some reason, I cannot mount the 32GB sd card I copyed with "dd". It gives me the following error:
$ mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usb0
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so.
And dmesg (syslog the same) just give this message:
[20597.417471] FAT-fs (sdb1): utf8 is not a recommended IO charset for FAT filesystems, filesystem will be case sensitive
