Not sure whether this is a "peripheral" or not but it certainly lies on the periphery of my boards. In fact, it is the periphery.

A picture of my cluster is below. Yes, it is using an elderly 100MB ethernet hub pro tem but a decent low-latency 8-port Gbe switch should arrive in a day or two. When it comes the cable management will be a little more professional than a random selection of cable ties.

Incidentally, the monitor shows my "redless-display" issue described in another thread.
